Kim embodies this description of a leader. Her personal and professional accomplishments are nothing short of amazing, and she has achieved them while keeping a focus on fighting and righting injustices.
A Senior Associate at Patituce & Associates, Kim handles minor and complex cases and is well-known for her work in wrongful conviction litigation. Her passion for pursuing social justice work was fueled during a cross-country bicycle trip that took her through various urban and rural areas experiencing hardships. It was then she decided to attend law school and pursue a career that would allow her to right wrongs and protect the accused from suffering injustices.
Kim has worked on several notable cases, including helping Ru-El Sailor get his murder conviction overturned and securing dismissal of charges for Charles Jackson, who was wrongly convicted of a homicide and spent nearly 3 decades in prison. She was also invited to the White House to discuss a pardon for another client. Working with HBO star Michael K. Williams, she created the CMLAA Live Justice Scholarship Fund.
Kim gives her all in her legal work as well as her personal life. She is a marathon runner and practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
